Noel, I used to think that the light effects in those Hudson River School landscapes were a bit exaggerated and over the top -- but clearly they are not; it was just my horizons that were limited. This is a gorgeous image.

Just catching up from Bloom Day. Similar magical light I revel in from Nordic/Scandinavian artists.
