Dahlia Dell…the Last Blooms.

Masses of Dahlias draw me into this dell.

                                            Their vivid colors, stripes

                                                     and patterns

      are full of whimsy
                       interesting designs

Aren’t they just dazzling to behold?

I want to touch
every flower, but please don’t tell anyone.
Its my private joy to be in the presence
                              of all this beauty…

This one reminds me of fireworks.

while this reminds me of taffy

You see, I can’t help but to

touch you and see compare how

               large your
                                flower is to

                                       my hand

                      its just amazing!

                      True bliss……

Dear care takers – thank you for giving us
        so much joy today!

This is my contribution to garden bloom day to see other blooms go visit

Thanks Noel for sharing this fabulous place. Those Dahlias are simply magnificent. Each is a beauty in its own right, but that creamy white one with red streaks really caught my eye.

They really are show stoppers at this time of year.

Wow - the flowers seem bigger and brighter in the tropics. We in South Africa are starting in spring. Thank you for sharing.

Noel, amazing shots of the Dahlias, and to think they tried to put us off them in the UK a few years back, you know the sort of thing---no longer in fashion, what a load of nonsense.

Wow! I've never lived anywhere that Dahlias grow so am not really familiar with them. They are amazing. As such a wonderful photographer, I can see why they are captivating to you and the camera!

Noel how gorgeous they are...and you captured so many different ones...I do so love them and have recently planted some again in the garden. I am smitten which is good and bad...good because now I will have to find lots of room for more and more and bad because now I have to buy more and more and learn to lift them so I can overwinter them...I love a challenge though!! ...Happy GBBD!!!

Those dahlias are absolutely breathtaking! I have not been able to grow them, but my son who lives across town has. Your post has given me inspiration to try again!

"Taffy and summertime"--what a terrific way to remember dahlias! We're transitioning into the season of chrysanthemums, but they don't seem to have quite the same excitement as dahlias. Happy bloomday!

dahlias are so beautiful. My mother always grew them in England and saved the corms each year. I so wish we could also grow them. Thanks for bringing them into my house on bloom day.

Oh my goodness, these are all simply gorgeous! I've never had much luck growing them here, so I'll have to be content just feasting my eyes on these beauties--thanks for sharing.

These are gorgeous. I expected to see something more tropical what with the name of your blog. Ha.. I love daliahs. I don't know why I don't grow them....oh yes, now I remember. They have to be dug up before the ground freezes. Seeing these makes me think it would almost be worth the effort.Happy GBBD.

Yes, they are dazzling. As my eyes landed on the first photo, "Wow!" came out of my mouth. What a treat to be around all those beauties. I just have room for a few dahlias.

I am feeling sad because our killing freeze is expected in a day or two.

Hi Noel, belated happy GBBD! Thanks for stopping by my blog and giving me a good reason to visit somewhere tropical and warm. I am not sure who likes the dahlia's better: you or the sun. Sunlight plays so beautifully in an around those beautiful petals. Your photography is simply stunning!
